Rubinstein, established in 1985, consists of three company divisions: Rubinstein Publishing, Rubinstein Royalty Management and Rubinstein Media. We provide services and support in the areas of audio, video, books, television and animationproductions. Our activities also include controlling and exploitation of brands and characters for merchandising and line or brand extensions. All three divisions can build on years of experience and a rich portfolio with licences and brands that have entertained, inspired and enriched families for many years.

At Rubinstein, we continually invest in themes that guarantee lasting recognition; classics or classics to be. We offer a superlative level of quality; our goal always is a long-term relationship with our clients and retailers and consumers.
 

Rubinstein Publishing

 
Rubinstein Publishing has a long and rich experience in the publishing of a growing number of books, audio and audiovisual products based on exclusive creations of f.e. Astrid Lindgren, Dick Bruna, Roald Dahl, Beatrix Potter, JK Rowling, Disney, Sesamestreet, Dan Brown, Nicci French, Paolo Coelho, Arthur Golden, Jonathan Safran Foer, Sandor Marai and many others

As a recognised Dutch publisher, we offer our quality products to a broad range of outlets, including bookshops, book clubs, warehouses, toy stores, department stores and supermarkets. We are proud of our considerable experience in creating tailor-made activities for major clients like f.e. Sara Lee Douwe Egberts, Nestlé, Albert Heijn, Reckitt Benckiser and Shell.

Rubinstein Royalty Management


Rubinstein Royalty Management is an independent agent for a selected group of famous illustrators, children’s characters and brands. There have specialized in classic childrens bookclassics, but also a strong quality brand like Discovery Channel is part of the Rubinstein portfolio. Over the years we have built up an impressive and extensive network of manufacturers in different sectors.
 
Rubinstein Media


The core activities at Rubinstein Media include the development, participation, management and exploitation of animation series. We also focus on media exploitation and media advice. At Rubinstein Media, we guide our clients from the initial concept right through the launching of the final product/service.
 
Total concept


The complementary character and synergistic dynamics of our three company divisions enable Rubinstein to deliver a total concept to the consumer market as well as to our business-to-business clients.

Both Publishing and Royalty Management are specialised in initiating promotional activities in cooperation with companies, joint and cross promotion, tailor-made products, using rights available within our divisions. Our extensive range of rights enables us to exploit the most current events to the optimum effect.

Licensing


Rubinstein is an independent producer of children's quality entertainment and licensing agent with a strong focus on Benelux and classic childrens books.
The classic characters that make up our portfolio have entertained, inspired and enriched families for many years. From alltime favorites like Little Golden Books - home of talented illustrators like Richard Scarry, Tibor Gergely and Garth Williams -, to royal classic Babar, to the worldwide bestselling books by Roald Dahl with his Charlie and the Chocolatefactory or James and the Giant Peach, greatly illustrated by Quentin Blake and A-brands Discovery Channel – with its Miami Ink, Myth Busters, American Chopper – and Animal Planet.
